👑Hades is the ancient Greek god of the dead and the King of the Underworld. He is also known as Pluto (or Plouton), the "rich one," as he has dominion over the hidden mineral wealth and the fertile soil beneath the earth's surface
He is the Enforcer of the Natural Order. He ensures that the souls of the dead remain in his realm and strictly punishes anyone who tries to cheat death or escape
He wears a powerful helmet, forged by the Cyclopes, that makes the wearer completely invisible, even to other gods.
While he was feared and rarely worshipped with public ceremonies, he was respected as a fair ruler who upheld the laws of his domain. He was rarely involved in the petty squabbles of the other gods on Mount Olympus.
His most famous myth involves the abduction of Persephone, the goddess of spring. After her abduction, she became his queen, and many later interpretations of the myth portray their relationship as a stable one, with Hades being loyal to his wife, unlike many other male gods.
